J&H Bucket Elevators cover lifting heights from 50 ft. (15 m) to 150 ft. (45 m) and capacities from 30 to 1,000 TPH, which gives J&H the ability to handle most of your material lifting needs.
A full line of J&H Control Valves direct the material through the process loop and command the operation of the plant from start up to shut down. J&H Stream Splitter valves are designed to evenly split the flow of material into separate process streams. J&H Material Diverter valves can be two position valves for dump or bypass, or modulating for process control, recycle, or combining.
Controlling where the material flows is important, but just as important is regulating the material flow, controlling its speed and distributing the material as it is fed into the process screens. A velocity breaker is used to control velocity when fall height causes excessive speed in the product material within the feed chutes. J&H has a wide variety of Feeders to provide proper feed control according to your existing plant geometry to distribute the material properly across the width of the screen. For feed chutes that are angled out from a stream splitter, J&H uses a standard Vibrating Screen Feeder that has an inlet flange on one end of the distributor pan. If the height of the bucket elevator is very tall and chute angle is not an issue, the J&H Vibrating Feeder can be oriented with the feed end away from the plant center-line to act as a velocity break. If height is more of an issue, the feeder can be oriented so that the feed end is toward the center of the plant, maximizing the feed chute angle. Conveying Feeders and Trough Feeders can be used if vertical height is even more of a challenge. For plants with feed conveyors or drag flight distribution systems where the material is fed near the center-line of each of the screen lines, J&H has a range of center fed distributor feeders. For highly abrasive or hard materials, a simple CD Feeder with a distributor pan or a rock box will do the job of speed regulation and distribution. For plants with product materials that need more active distribution control, we have the Vibrating Screen Feeder and the Static Body Center Feeder. These feeders are center fed distributor feeders with vibrator motors.
J&H Screens are the core of our product line and there is a wide array of screen sizes and configurations to handle the screening needs for most hard, dry, granular products. J&H Single Deck screens are used for scalping at the beginning of the process or polishing at the end. For plants with limited room for multiple screens, a J&H Riffle screen doubles the single surface screening area in the same space as one Single Deck machine. J&H Double Deck screens have two different screen surfaces for narrowing the product size range to within specifications. A J&H Triple deck screen separates the material into two product size specifications. For all of these screens, J&H Speed Clean technology can reduce maintenance and increase screening efficiency by automatically and regularly clearing the wire cloth of blinding and material build-up. J&H is excited to be expanding our screening applications with the introduction of the J&H Vector Drive screen.
To catch the smaller sized particles that go through the screen, J&H has a complete set of standard hoppers, as well as specialized hoppers for just about any application. To J&H, the hopper has always been much more than just a vessel for collecting the byproducts of the screening process. The hopper is part of the screening process, integrally mounted with the screen and with a strategically located exhaust flange connection that controls the dust and helps to pull the fines through the screen. Increasingly, the fines hopper has been much more than a passive device with the advent of hoppers with an integral Modulating Discharge Valve. Different configurations of plates within the hopper allow the modulating hopper valve to have specific functions in helping to regulate process control.
J&H has Screen Support Structures that can be free standing or integrated into existing plant structure that will hold the screen and hopper at the correct angle and provide for complete access to the screens and feeders.
Oversized material separated by the screens are usually sent to the crusher to be returned to the production loop. Consistent size and continuous supply of the pulverized material is important to a stable recycle feedback process. The J&H chain mill is excellent for this application. Inevitably, material clumps or slag breaking off from the surfaces introduce large lumps of hard material that can circulate around the process loop many times and be damaging to screen wire cloth or even the standard crusher or chain mill. To extend the life of every component of your plant, it is important to locate a J&H lump breaker strategically in the process loop to efficiently handle this type of unintended material.
How do you know how efficient your process is? Often, changes in temperature and humidity levels at night can disrupt the process or change the product quality at the very time when there are the least number of people available to monitor this. The easiest way is to install a J&H Automatic Sampler. This simple device can be set up to automatically sample a given amount of the product material at any predetermined interval of time without having to open any covers, disrupt the material flow, or accidentally drop your sampling cup into the product. This can be set so that the sampling is done at intervals during every 24 hour period. This way you can see how the product is affected by changes in the environment, the weather, time of day, different operators, etc. Knowledge is power, and lets you plan and compensate for these variables in order to maintain the highest product quality possible.
Circling back to the beginning of the process loop, J&H manufactures horizontal and vertical mixers and granulators up to 190 kW for certain applications of fertilizer production. These products have been invented and developed by a world renowned process engineer and are an exciting new addition to the J&H family of products.
To keep all of your J&H Products that you have purchased running like new, follow the maintenance instructions in your operators manual and use J&H Spare Parts.
