Single Rotor Hammer Mills

The J&H HD Single Rotor Hammer Mills are machines designed to reduce the particle size of a material by impacting the material with the high velocity rotation of a series of hammers.  The direction and speed of the rotation of the rotor and the careful management of the material flow path through the machine all contribute to the high efficiency of the Single Rotor Hammer Mills.  Solid welded construction and welded stainless steel liners in non-impact zones provide exceptional durability and life to the hammer mill.  Impact zones are protected with solid rubber pads covering the entire area for easy replacement and increased durability.  The J&H HD Hammer Mill utilizes a rotor that is equipped with AR400 hammer flails that increase crushing surface area.  One of the unique feature of the Hammer Mill is its single rotor design which places all of the mechanical parts of the machine on one side for easy inspection and evaluation of mechanical systems and decreases the Mill’s footprint.  The Hammer Mill is also design with a large front access door and two full-width side access doors which can be handled by one person.  These doors allow easy access to all of the necessary points that need to be reached for service and inspection.
