J&H’s Static Body Center Feeder excels in applications where the material feed is already in line with the central axis of the screen machine line. The distribution pan inside the feeder then spreads the material out in both directions to evenly feed the product across the full width of the screen machine’s wire cloth, making most efficient use of the screening surface area. There are two versions of this feeder, the vibrating body and the static body type.
In the Static Body type, the feeder body housing stationary and can be rigidly attached to a standard screen feed end and to adjacent feed chute. The distributor pan is connected to two J&H Vibrator motors which vibrate the pan for fluid movement of the product material. The distributor pan and the vibrator motors are supported by J&H proprietary rubber support buffers for maximum amplitude and most efficient action from the vibration.
The Static Body feeder has the advantage of simplicity of installation, since no inlet and discharge bellows are required. The vibrator motors and support buffers are outside of the feeder housing for easy inspection. Access doors permit viewing of material flow and permit periodic maintenance on the inside. Baffle blades are provided on the static body housing that are adjustable from the outside and allow for minor corrections of material flow.
If the feed chutes are not vertical or not aligned with the screen machine, see the other styles of J&H Feeder/Distributor that can be used to handle any plant geometry.
