Static Body Side Feeder

The J&H Static Body Side Feeder is designed to increase the efficiency of a J&H screen by distributing the flow of material over the full width of its wire cloth.  The pan is designed to regulate the incoming flow of material by absorbing the momentum of high velocity material or fluidizing slow moving material.  The pan is vibrated using our JHV 1800 RPM vibrator motors supported by specially developed rubber buffers.  The pan slope is adjustable to address specific material needs and plant configuration.  The (SBS) Static Body Side Feeder also offers adjustable deflectors to fine tune material flow and comes standard with access doors for ease of inspection and maintenance.  The SBS Feeder maximizes wire cloth life by distributing material across the full width of the screen inlet and preventing a stream of material from being concentrated on a small portion of the wire cloth.  The feeder capacity ranges from 10 to 250 mtph and is available in 48”, 60”, 72”, and 84” widths to match any J&H screen size.

The Model 98 SBS feeder has many design innovations including enhancements to the drive system, pan adjustment and replacement, material deflectors, inspection and maintenance access doors, and the protective coating.  The SBS feeder drive system transfers vibration through a rigid drive tube for increased efficiency and the feeder drive system rubber seal is clamped around the drive tube and housing making it dust tight.  Bolted access panels on both sides of the SBS feeder provide full width access for easy replacement of the pan and does not require disconnection of the drive system.  The SBS feeder in the side feed configuration can be used to retrofit any previous J&H feeder model with no chute or mounting modifications required.  To learn more, check out the Static Body Side (SBS) Feeder brochure.
